Termination of our Lease

Aloha friends and supporters of the Kalaeloa Heritage Park!

The Hawai'i Community Development Authority (HCDA) has decided to terminate our lease. Can we ask you to provide testimony to the HCDA in support of the Kalaeloa Heritage and Legacy Foundation and the Kalaeloa Heritage Park?

Please come to the HCDA Board meeting on Wednesday 6 March at the HCDA office on Queen St. at 11:00 am. If you're unable to attend the meeting you can submit your written testimony to the HCDA -- due no later than noon on Tuesday 5 March -- via the HCDA website. Select "Other" as the project name, enter "Kalaeloa Heritage and Legacy Foundation," and click the "Support" radio button. Enter your testimony in the Comment box.

Say a bit about yourself, what the Kalaeloa Heritage Park means to you and our community, and request that the HCDA negotiate a mutually agreeable Stewardship Agreement with the Kalaleloa Heritage and Legacy Foundation that allows it to continue its work to preserve and protect the historical, cultural, and archaeological landscape of Kalaeloa through the operation of the Kalaeloa Heritage Park.
